How to Clean Our Kitchen Easily

We all know how important it is to deep and thorough clean our homes. It is absolutely necessary to take care of our place at least once or twice a week in order to make your house or apartment comfortable enough. Unfortunately, this doesn’t happen just like that and we usually need to arm ourselves with a bunch of detergents. However, even expensive cleaning products can’t always deal with some stubborn stains such as rust, mould and mildew, etc. Don’t despair, because in your kitchen cupboards there is everything you actually need. Now the only thing you need is the knowledge how to use these powerful weapons. This is how we do it:

Lemons – These citrus are known for their usage in cooking and home-made cosmetics. However, nature made sure it gave them some extra benefits such as lemon acid. Lemon acid is a great means when it comes to cleaning dirt accumulations and rust, and if you mix it with some salt, we guarantee you that it will do miracles.

In order to clean your kitchen surfaces, dip half a lemon in some baking soda and scrub the surface that needs cleaning, as long it is not made of steel or marble. If you want to remove some stains that cover your wooden or plastic surfaces, apply some fresh lemon juice, scrub the surface with a hard brush and leave the juice work for about twenty minutes before you wash the surface with water.

Vinegar – The strong acidity of vinegar makes it a real champion when it comes to dealing with dirt. Vinegar is known for being one of the most efficient natural cleaning products in our home. What can we use it for? Vinegar can help you clean some stubborn stains on metal surfaces. You can use it also for cleaning the inside of your kitchen appliances.

In order to disinfect your dishwasher, pour half a cup of vinegar in the tank and turn it on. You can also use some vinegar in order to clean your floor, but be careful – do not apply vinegar of wooden or marble floors, because it can seriously damage their surfaces. Vinegar is also a fine window cleaning product. You can try mixing a glass of vinegar with 2 glasses of water and a few drops of detergent and wash the windows with this home-made solution. We promise that you will be astonished by the results.

Baking soda – Baking soda is the perfect product you can find in your kitchen cupboards when it comes to removing the bad smells in the kitchen and the rest of your home. Moreover, it is great in case you want to handle mould and mildew in the bathroom. Baking is soda is also great when it comes to cleaning the grease stains off your cooker and oven. You can even use it when you need to unclog a pipe. How can you do that? Actually, it’s very easy – put some baking soda in the clogged pipe, pour some vinegar and let the chemistry reaction work for a couple of minutes. Then pour some hot water and voilà – you have a perfectly clean pipe!
